The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has issued a public advisory ahead of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Annual Christmas Convocation, scheduled to hold from Saturday, December 20, 2025, through Friday, December 26, 2025.
The convocation, one of the largest religious gatherings in the state, is expected to draw attendees from across Nigeria and the diaspora, generating significant human and vehicular traffic.
In a statement released Thursday, TRACE urged guests, church members, and the general motoring public to adhere strictly to traffic rules and regulations to ensure smooth movement during the event.
Authorities emphasized that compliance with traffic laws would help prevent congestion, minimize travel delays, and reduce the risk of accidents or conflicts on the roads.
“Participants are advised to respect basic traffic guidelines to avoid obstruction, man-hour loss, overbearing road behavior, and route violations,” TRACE said in the statement.
The agency also assured the public that its operatives, alongside other security and safety agencies, would be deployed at key entry and exit points to regulate and manage traffic flow.
TRACE officers will monitor movement to prevent disruptions and maintain safety, ensuring the convocation proceeds without compromising public security or road safety.
The agency highlighted that its presence aims to guarantee orderly traffic, minimize security threats, and protect lives and property before, during, and after the convocation.
Motorists were urged to remain patient, plan their routes in advance, and comply with directives from traffic personnel on duty.
TRACE also reminded attendees to respect pedestrian pathways, designated parking areas, and other traffic guidelines to facilitate smooth operations.
