Lagos, Nigeria — The city of Lagos is set for a spectacular celebration of worship as gospel rhythm, lyrics, and divine connection converge at the maiden edition of the Symphony of Praise & Worship (SPAW) Concert with Dr. Ajokesings on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Organised by God’s minstrel Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan, the monumental gospel music experience is designed to unite hearts and voices in pure worship to the ‘Oba Nla’ — the Great King — and promises an evening of spiritual reflection, adoration, and musical excellence, Trek Africa Newspaper reports.
The event, which offers free attendance, requires mandatory registration due to limited seating. It will take place at the Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, starting at 4:00 PM. Interested participants can register here.
The SPAW Concert will feature an impressive lineup of gospel music heavyweights, including Dr. Ajokesings, Emma Oh My God, Limoblaze, BJ Sax, Lillian Nneji, Eno Michael, Anendlessocean, Pelumi Deborah, Praise 4 One Choir, Jtrybe, Omoarugbo Ojo, Hope Activate, Bata Girl, among others.
According to organisers, the concert will offer a seamless blend of contemporary worship, traditional rhythms, and instrumental mastery, transforming music into a language of adoration and every note into a heartbeat of gratitude.
Dr. Ajokesings, also known as Dr. Ajoke Olufunmilola Ogunsan, described SPAW as more than just a concert. She said,
> “SPAW is not a mere showcase; it is a spiritual encounter to bring humanity into worship of Oba Nla, the King of Glory. It will be an authentic spiritual experience that blends faith, creativity, and community. It is a gathering to revive and reverberate the culture of heartfelt worship among the youth of our country.”
The SPAW Concert will also highlight emerging gospel talent from the recently conducted SPAW Talent Quest. Young artists such as Praise Moses, Dharmie Hilz, and Isioma Charles will perform on the main stage, providing a platform for new voices to serve the Lord through music.
Dr. Ajokesings emphasised that the Talent Quest is not simply a competition but a kingdom-driven platform aimed at nurturing raw potential into purposeful ministry.
The visionary worship leader and philanthropist also encouraged individuals and corporate bodies to sponsor the event to ensure its success, highlighting the concert’s potential to inspire and uplift participants spiritually.
Attendees can expect a night of worship, praise, and musical celebration, where faith meets creativity, and every performance serves to glorify God.
