The atmosphere within the Lagos State Chapter of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) was one of pride and jubilation as news broke of their Patron, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan’s appointment as the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
The appointment, announced by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has been widely hailed as a reward for years of visionary service, integrity, and consistent contributions to public security in Lagos State.
Dr. Moses Oladimeji, the Chairman of POCACOV Lagos, in a heartfelt congratulatory message, described the new appointment as “a fitting recognition of a man whose career embodies leadership, service, and patriotic commitment.”
According to him, Dr. Ogunsan’s elevation was not accidental but a natural progression in a life devoted to building safer communities and strengthening Nigeria’s moral and institutional foundations.
