The Executive Secretary and CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, on Tuesday joined key figures from the real estate and security sectors at the official unveiling of Property Brokers International Magazine in Lagos.
The publication, produced by the CEO of Badison Security Services, Dr. Matthew Ibadin, was launched under the theme, “Tokenization and Financing: The Future of Real Estate Investment in Africa.”
The theme spotlighted new models driving property development on the continent, particularly technology-enabled investment structures and the increasing connection between real estate and public safety.
Addressing participants at the event, Ogunsan commended Ibadin for creating a platform that links property development with security and innovation.
He noted that property markets flourish only when supported by strong and efficient security systems.
“Real estate thrives only where safety is guaranteed,” Ogunsan said, stressing the importance of sustained investment in the security architecture of Lagos State.
He added that the LSSTF remains committed to strengthening law enforcement agencies through equipment provision, logistics support, and other operational needs.
During the programme, organisers screened an LSSTF promotional video highlighting the Fund’s contributions to security agencies across the state.
Ogunsan used the platform to appeal to both public and private stakeholders for increased financial support to the Trust Fund.
He said their contributions would help safeguard investments, improve policing capacity, and ensure that Lagos remains conducive for business and daily life.
“I want to urge every stakeholder to continue contributing generously to the LSSTF,” he said.
He also provided donation details, encouraging attendees to support the Fund through its First Bank account.
The event drew several dignitaries, including the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Fayoade.
Also present were the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Administration, DCP Khan Salihu, along with CP Ayo Faniyan and other senior security officials.
Entrepreneurs, real estate developers, and representatives of private security organisations also attended the launch.
