An Ogun State High Court has nullified the suspension and subsequent impeachment of the Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government Area, Hon. Wale Adedayo.
The judgment, delivered on Monday, set aside all actions taken by the Legislative Council against Adedayo, ruling that due process was not followed in his suspension and removal from office.
The court declared the actions of the councillors unconstitutional and ordered his reinstatement as the validly elected chairman of the local government.
