Moniepoint Microfinance Bank (MFB) has unveiled a new brand campaign, “Made for Your Progress,” with a powerful message of aspiration, growth and support for Nigerians striving to achieve their dreams.

The bank announced the campaign alongside the appointment of Nigerian football superstar, Victor Osimhen, as its official brand ambassador. The partnership, according to the institution, symbolizes the spirit of resilience, ambition, and success that defines both the brand and the striker’s personal story.

Unveiled in Lagos, the campaign sets out Moniepoint’s ambition to position itself as more than a financial service provider — but rather a dependable partner in the journey of Nigerians navigating personal and business growth.

Moniepoint says the campaign celebrates “real people making real moves,” spotlighting the small, medium, and big everyday wins that add up to progress. It seeks to resonate with Nigeria’s doers — the market women, the entrepreneurs, the hustlers, and the professionals — who form the heartbeat of the economy.

Babatunde Olofin, Managing Director of Moniepoint MFB, explained the philosophy behind the campaign. “We believe that the ambitions of Nigerians are the foundation of our economy. This campaign is our promise to every Nigerian with a dream: we will provide the financial comfort, confidence, and freedom to pursue and achieve those dreams,” he said.

He stressed that progress looks different for everyone, and Moniepoint exists to support each unique journey. From small victories like starting a business to landmark achievements like expanding one, the bank’s mission is to empower and celebrate customers at every stage.

Victor Osimhen was introduced as the perfect face of the campaign. His rise from a modest childhood in Olusosun, Lagos, to becoming one of the world’s most lethal strikers mirrors the determination and grit of millions of Nigerians.

Osimhen, who recently made headlines with a record-breaking €75 million move to Galatasaray in Turkey, represents a blend of grassroots authenticity and global recognition. His story, Moniepoint says, reinforces the belief that dreams, no matter how far-fetched, are valid.

Speaking on the partnership, Osimhen expressed pride in working with Moniepoint. “My journey has always been about believing in progress despite challenges. Moniepoint’s vision aligns with my story — supporting people’s dreams and celebrating every win. Together, we will inspire Nigerians to keep striving,” he said.

The football star added that “Made for Your Progress” is not just a catchy slogan but a genuine message of hope. He lauded Moniepoint’s belief that every dream is valid, saying it resonates with his personal life journey.

Since its expansion into personal banking in August 2023, Moniepoint has offered services designed to make financial management seamless. Its offerings include a mobile app for transfers, bill payments, and airtime purchase, as well as a debit card usable on ATMs, POS terminals, and online platforms.

The bank also boasts a robust payment infrastructure trusted by over 10 million businesses across Nigeria, which it says underscores its credibility and commitment to financial inclusion.

The new campaign will run across traditional and digital platforms, showcasing customer stories while highlighting Moniepoint’s innovative services as enablers of real progress.

Moniepoint says it intends to redefine the role of a financial institution — from being a transactional tool to becoming Nigeria’s definitive partner for ambition, dreams, and financial happiness.

With Osimhen as the face of the campaign, the bank is confident of connecting its message with millions of Nigerians who see themselves reflected in the striker’s story of determination and triumph.
