The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has confirmed that it is investigating a staff member following allegations of improper transaction practices circulating on social media.
The allegation claims that the staff used a personal bank account to receive payments from customers for signage-related services.
LASAA described the claim as a serious matter and emphasized that any such action, if verified, would contravene established financial and ethical procedures.

In response to the allegation, the Honourable Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, issued a directive for immediate action.
Following the directive, the staff member implicated has been formally identified by the Agency.
The individual has been instructed to report to the Agency’s Head Office for investigation and to face potential disciplinary proceedings.
