A new partnership among Inside Africa
Network, Ashbab Global Impact Initiatives, and Kaftan TV is set to redefine the Global Impact Awards 2025, one of Africa’s most prestigious recognition events celebrating individuals making outstanding contributions to society.
The organizers said the collaboration aims to elevate the awards to new levels of excellence and expand their reach across Africa and the global community.
The Global Impact Awards, initiated by Ashbab Global Impact Initiatives, have over the years honored men and women who have distinguished themselves through impactful service, humanitarian work, and societal development.
Past recipients of the awards include Distinguished Senator Shehu Sani, High Chief Dr. Chetachi Ecton, Tonto Dikeh, Baron Meezy of Ghana, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu, Julius Agwu, Jean Francois Merdy from France, Rabby Bray of Ghana, Emeka Ike, Francis Duru, Dr. Abdulmalik Durungwa, and Barr. Emmanuel Ogebe.
With Inside Africa Network and Kaftan TV joining forces with Ashbab Global Impact Initiatives, this year’s event is expected to deliver a broader platform and heightened media visibility for honorees.
Chief Executive Officer of Ashbab Global Impact Initiatives and Magazine, Jane Thomas-Rogers, confirmed that the 2025 edition of the event will be hosted in Abuja instead of Lagos.
According to her, the decision to move the event was strategic, as Abuja offers greater space, accessibility, and media exposure for participants and award recipients.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Inside Africa Network and Kaftan TV to host the Global Impact Awards 2025,” Thomas-Rogers said.
She explained that the partnership reflects a shared vision of recognizing and celebrating individuals who are making a meaningful difference in their communities and around the world.
“With their support, we can reach a wider audience and further amplify the impact of these inspiring stories,” she added.
Organizers said nominations for deserving individuals and organizations are now open to the public ahead of the award ceremony.
Members of the public are encouraged to submit nominations via email to globalimpactsawards@gmail.com for consideration in various categories.
The Global Impact Awards 2025 is scheduled to hold on November 30, 2025, in the heart of Abuja, drawing top personalities from across Africa and beyond.
The event is expected to feature cultural showcases, entertainment performances, and compelling stories of change from honorees who are shaping lives in diverse fields.
Organizers reaffirmed that the 2025 edition would build on past successes and further strengthen the Global Impact Awards’ position as a leading platform for celebrating humanitarian excellence and global transformation.
