The immediate past Governnor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade has explain that he is still very much relevant in the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state and at the National level.
This assertion was made on weekend as a marmot crowd of the ruling All Progressives Congress members stormed Margaret Ekpo’s International Airport in Calabar to give a resounding welcome to the former All Progressives Congress Governnor in the state.
Professor Ayade told media practitioners on arrival that he knew that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be the Party that will take Nigeria to become the hub for world attraction in Africa when President Bola Ahemd Tinubu mount the podium as President of Nigeria.
He also commended Bola Ahemd Tinubu led administration for the past two years have shown the direction of the economic transformation with International commendation for the roadmap laid already.
He also debunked the remurs making rounds that his political relevance have gone since he lost the election as the Senator who should represent Northern Senatorial districts of Cross River State to the then People’s Democratic party (PDP) in 2025, former Governnor Ben Ayade explained that the malaise of that election have been set aside provided his administration delivered Cross River State to the party under the leadership of Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu as Governnor.
Senator Ayade also commended Governnor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu administration for all that he had archives for the first two years while promising that he was aware of the quality personality of Bassey Edet Otu of which have proven his political standard to you.
He also recalled that he knew that the end of the road was indicated for his continuous membership in the People’s Democratic party in Nigeria, hence he initiated the political philosophy of sucketing to the center with Cross Riverians.
He expressed gratitude that his vision have paid well for Cross Riverians and indeed Nigeria because President Bola Ahemd Tinubu is a sound political leader with digital version.
