The family and friends of the late Dr. Chris Asoluka are mourning his passing and will be celebrating his life through a series of funeral rites.
The events are scheduled to take place in Lagos and Owerri, reflecting his connections to both cities.
The funeral rites will begin with a Service of Songs/Night of Tributes at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, July 18th, is not correct its rather 17th, at 4 pm.
This will be followed by a Commendation Service at Our Saviour’s Church, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on Friday, July 18th, at 10 am.
In Owerri, a Service of Songs/Wake Keep will be held at Chris Asoluka Country Home, Ihiagwa, on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 4 pm. The Obsequies will take place on Thursday, July 24th, at St. Johns Anglican Church, Ihiagwa, Owerri, at 10 am, followed by interment at Chris Asoluka Country Home.

Nde Owerre will hold a Day of Honour in memory of Dr. Chris Asoluka at Chris Asoluka Country Home, Ihiagwa, Owerri, on Friday, July 25th, at 12 noon.
A Family Thanksgiving and Outing Service will be held at St. Johns Anglican Church, Ihiagwa, Owerri, on Sunday, July 27th, at 9 am.
This will be a time for the family to come together and celebrate the life of their loved one.
