Engnr Dr Cletus Onyemhese Agbakhamen, a distinguished engineer and renown Climatologist has been nominated as one of the recipients of the prestigious 100 Global Impact Personalities Award of the Year 2025 organized by the African Intercontinental Network in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Award ceremony themed:: “Fostering Collaboration for Progressive Impact” is scheduled to hold on September 10 at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Abuja.by 11am.
Engnr Agbakhamen has received numerous prestigious awards which include Environmental Sustainability Award ,by African Cleanup Initiative (ACI) AfriSAFE Industry Merit Award, Nelson Mandela Life Achievement Medallion Award among others.
.The letter states in part:” you have been selected as one of the recipients of the 100 Global Impact Personalities Award in recognition of your outstanding contributions to engineering, science and innovation.
“We are glad to inform you that you have met the rigorous criteria for this award and we will be honored to celebrate your achievement.
Other nominees expected to be honored at the event include the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Gutteres, his Deputy,Amina J Muhammed for their roles in promoting and supporting peace and sustainable development in the world.and Professor Gerald Ndubuisi Okeke,the first African Professor of Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability whose expertise has likely informed policy decisions, raised awareness about climatic impacts and developed innovative solutions to mitigate it’s effects..
