One of Nigeria’s leading human-interest online news platforms, Citizens Compass, has been nominated for the Online of the Year category in the 19th edition of the prestigious Nigeria Media Nite Out Award (NMNA) scheduled for Sunday, November 26, 2025.

“This is to inform you that voting for all nominated categories has officially commenced for the 19th Edition of the Nigeria Media Nite Award (NMNA). You are encouraged to begin reaching out to your fans, colleagues, and supporters so that votes and nominations can start coming in for your category,” the letter read in part.
Mr. Olugbemiro also encouraged media professionals and the public to celebrate their favorites by casting their votes through SMS to 0903 807 8413, adding that the NMNA remains a platform for promoting professionalism and excellence in journalism.
The statement concluded with a warm note of appreciation to all nominees for their continued contributions to the media industry and their role in shaping public opinion responsibly.
Reacting to the nomination, Citizens Compass Publisher, Mrs. Bose Adelaja, expressed delight and gratitude to her readers and colleagues for their unwavering support since the inception of the platform.
