The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, mnips, PhD, has commended three police officers for what he described as an exceptional display of courage, professionalism and swift operational response in the line of duty.
The officers—Inspector Okoma Ewa, Corporal Chawalamoke Godsfavour and Constable Emekwisore Ifeanyi—were praised on Thursday, December 18, 2025, for their outstanding conduct during a recent security operation in the state.
According to the Commissioner, the officers responded promptly to a distress report, demonstrating uncommon bravery and tactical efficiency in the face of danger.
Their swift intervention, he said, effectively denied armed hoodlums the opportunity to unleash havoc within the area of operation.
The operation led to the recovery of arms, stolen money and other incriminating items, further disrupting criminal activities and restoring calm.
CP Orutugu noted that the actions of the officers reflected the core values of the Nigeria Police Force, particularly discipline, dedication and selfless service to the public.
He described their conduct as exemplary, adding that it set a standard worthy of emulation by other officers and men of the Command.
The Commissioner stressed that professionalism and courage remain critical pillars in the ongoing efforts to strengthen security and public confidence in policing.
