The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, has extended heartfelt goodwill to the Muslim faithful as they celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Maulud.

In a message personally signed by the Chairman, she congratulated Muslims within Agboyi-Ketu and across the country on the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

According to her, the Prophet’s life and teachings remain a guiding light for humanity, built on values of compassion, humility, justice, and peace.

She noted that Eid-ul-Maulud goes beyond a ceremonial festivity, describing it as a reminder of the timeless virtues that every believer is called to embody in their daily interactions.

“As we mark this occasion,” she said, “we must embrace the noble qualities of kindness, tolerance, and selfless service, which the Prophet (SAW) exemplified throughout his lifetime.”

The council boss stressed that the celebration comes at a time when communities need to strengthen their bonds of unity and mutual respect.

She encouraged residents of Agboyi-Ketu to use the period to reflect on the importance of peaceful coexistence, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.

“Indeed, our diversity is our strength,” she remarked, adding that unity and love are essential building blocks for a prosperous LCDA.

Hon. Abubakar also seized the opportunity to pray for continued blessings, renewed faith, and enduring peace in every household within the council area.

She emphasized that with collective efforts, Agboyi-Ketu can overcome challenges and achieve greater development for the benefit of all.
