The 13th GAH Awards and Business Summit is set to hold on Dec. 12 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, the organisers have said.
The annual event is expected to bring together policymakers, industry leaders and innovators from across the continent.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition will focus on building stronger partnerships and stimulating ideas capable of driving Africa’s transformation agenda.
The summit will feature leading national figures, including the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Minister of Aviation, Mr Festus Keyamo.
Also expected are the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Zamfara Governor, Dauda Lawal; and Air Peace Chairman, Mr Allen Onyema.
Human rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), is also billed to attend, alongside other policymakers, entrepreneurs and development advocates.
The theme for the 2025 summit, “Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion, and Sustainable Growth,” will focus on new approaches to development and long-term continental prosperity.
Convener of the summit, Dr Kelechi Oghene, said the platform was designed to promote engagement among leaders, enterprise builders and thinkers committed to Africa’s future.
She said the summit would offer an opportunity for conversations that encourage inclusiveness, creativity and strategic collaboration.
Dr Oghene said a major highlight of the event would be the unveiling of the GAH Elite Club Black Card, powered by Mastercard and Wema Bank.
She explained that the card would grant members access to global financial services, exclusive events and a network of CEOs, policymakers and innovators.
The convener urged institutions, governments and private-sector leaders to work together in strengthening Africa’s economic landscape.
She thanked sponsors and partners for their continued commitment, noting that the GAH platform had evolved into a respected institution across the continent.
The organisers said more than 1,000 participants, including investors, innovators and thought leaders from Africa and the diaspora, were expected to attend the summit.
They added that the 2025 edition would continue the tradition of recognising excellence while promoting ideas that support sustainable growth and development.
